Coach Ed Nicolace has provided baseball and softball hitting instruction for well over a decade to players ages seven through pro-level, most recently as co-owner of Vero Beach Baseball Academy. As a college catcher, he received full scholarships to play for Indian River Community College and Florida International University in Miami. He coached travel ball teams for many years, and the high intensity he brought to the field as a player and as a coach is part of his success as a hitting instructor. He loves working with students at every level, and he draws on his experience as a player and coach, investing his time and energy into developing baseball and softball players in the areas of hitting and catching. He not only brings a keen eye to watching the mechanics of a swing, he takes great care in developing the potential of a student, both on and off the field.

Justin Weiss is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who was the strength and conditioning coach for the Tampa Bay Rays (2012-2019) and Miami Marlins (2019-2020). He holds a degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. Coach Justin is a member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association, holding certifications in the highest rankings of NSCA including CSCS and RSCC, and is also Level I and II Functional Movement Screening Certified. Coach Justin has worked with many high school athletes, a high percentage of which have gone on to play collegiate sports. He has worked across multiple sports including football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and golf, training the physical demands of each sport. He offers strength and agility training at Diamond Hitting Instruction for individuals and groups, by appointment only.
